Toddler fights for life after drowning

By Basil Ray White County News Sixteen-month-old Aurelia Gail Patricia Day is fighting for her life after a drowning accident on March 5. As reported by the parents, Aurelia was found by her mother unresponsive in a lake in the backyard of their home in the area of Ivy Hills Drive.

Man leads deputies in high speed chase

A Gainesville man was arrested Saturday evening after leading police on a high speed chase on Ga. 115. The White County Sheriff’s Office charged 33-year-old William Mosquere-Contraras with 11 misdemeanors and two felonies following the incident. At 7:19 p.m., a deputy on on Ga.
