Branyon named TMU cycling coach

Staff report   Jeff Branyon has been named the head coach of the Truett McConnell University cycling team. TMU officials made the announcement on June 19, and Branyon is already on the job.

Ramey, Vandiver, Dotson in 2020 class

A trio of former White County High School athletes are among a  group of area athletes selected to be a part of the BLITZ Hall of Fame's Class of 2020. Annabeth Vandiver, Bella Ramey and Jessie Dotson represent WCHS in this year's class, joining 49 other high school athletes in the induction class.

WCRD announces Phase 2 of reopening plan

The White County Recreation Department will begin Phase 2 of reopening process at their county facilities Beginning Monday, June 22, WCRD will reopen their office from 7 a.m-8 p.m, Monday-Thursday, and  7 a.m.-5 p.m., on Friday, and 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday.

The White County Warriors got back to work last week, officially beginning the preparation for the 2020 high school football season.
