Love Your Neighbor initiative brings day of service to White County

Volunteers and community members participate in games during the Open Gym, Cookout and More event at the White County Recreation Department on July 11 as part of the Love Your Neighbor initiative.

Backpacks assembled during the Love Your Neighbor event at Helen First Baptist Church will be distributed to children entering foster care. The backpacks include handmade blankets, hygiene items, coloring books, crayons and handwritten encouragement cards.
