Pets of the Week: Sept. 16

Pets of the week for the week of Sept. 16 from White County Animal Control and Charles Smithgall Humane Society.

At White County Animal Control, Apollo is an 8-month-old male Lab/mix. Apollo was recently surrendered to the shelter and is looking for a new family! In Apollo’s short time at the shelter, he has stolen the hearts of our staff with his big smile and tail that doesn’t stop wagging! Clint Eastwood is a neutered male and is about a year old. This big guy doesn’t care for other cats, but loves people! Clint was surrendered to the shelter, and we’ve heard rumors that he’s good with dogs!

At Charles Smithgall Humane Society, Izzy is a 5-year-old rat terrier/Chihuahua mix. Izzy has a beautiful tri-color coat and weighs seven lbs. Izzy has a big personality, but his tiny size lends itself to traveling and being a constant companion. Izzy is house-trained and walks well on a leash. This little nugget is something special. Lucy is a one-year-old black and white kitty with gorgeous markings. She has sweet personality and loves being with her people. Lucy does well with other cats and likes to spend her days being lazy in a chair in the sun. Come meet Lucy.
