White County announces interim county manager

White County has announced that Shanda Murphy will serve as the interim county manager starting June 26. The move comes following the resignation of current county manager Jason Cobb, whose last day will be June 25. Cobb started working as the county manager in April 2020.

Group plans to raise funds in campaign for new library

A committee created to raise money toward the construction of a new public library is getting to work. The fundraising group is part of the new library building committee, and they’ve met recently to discuss the need, costs, fundraisers and more.
