The cause of a residential fire on Tray Mountain on Friday, April 30 has not been determined.
The community is invited to attend a Historic Courthouse Open House event is planned for this Saturday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

White County is exploring implementing a parking fee and kiosk at the Yonah Preserve Trailhead to offset operational costs.
After more than a year of study, a proposed framework for designating historic areas in an overlay district was presented to the White County Board of Commissioners at its April 26 meeting.
