Borderline High Fire Danger Conditions this afternoon into the evening for portions of North and Central Georgia due to low relative humidities. Special Weather Statement was issued on April 27 at 3:18 a.m. by the National Weather Service in Peachtree City.

The Helen City Commission held the first reading of an amendment to the business chapter of the Helen City Code at an April 19 meeting. If adopted after a second reading, this amendment will require owners of short-term rentals to pay occupational tax.

Drama Department to perform ‘Legally Blonde’ at WCHS for next two weekends

The White County High School drama department is starting performances of Legally Blonde the Musical beginning Thursday, April 21 on the main stage. This is the musical version of the beloved novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 movie of the same name that featured Reese Witherspoon as Elle Woods.
