Local band debuts at Business Block Party tonight

by Samantha Sinclair White County News   About a year ago, Trey Fuller brought together three of his friends who he knew from different parts of his life to form a band. They didn’t know each other then, but became friends as they formed Steady the Wave.

Cleveland to seek buyer for Talon property

by Linda Erbele White County News   Community members from Cleveland’s Ward 2 attended the May 9 city council meeting to question members about the city-owned site of the Talon Factory on Campbellton Road. “We would like some explanation of the property at Talon,” said Gloria Sutton.

‘With great blessings’

by Samantha Sinclair White County News   Five pastors from five different churches in White County led the community in prayer on May 4 for National Day of Prayer. The event was held in Freedom Park in Cleveland and organized by the White County Ministerial Fellowship.

Nunley retires after four decades

Fearless flight

by Jessica Wood White County News   A 97-year-old veteran celebrated his birthday on Tuesday by zip lining at Nacoochee Adventures in Helen. Leon White of Clermont conquered “The Intimidator,” one of the longest dual zip lines in the country at a half mile long.
