Love Thy Neighbor: Why we must tend to our own gardens

Many years ago, my gym was offering Tai Chi classes. I went to one. The instructor had us form two lines and follow his motions. As we pivoted to the left, I became distracted by the person now standing in front of me. They didn’t look like they were doing it right.

A few clarifications I appreciated Mr. Whitehead’s letter of last week in which he addressed my concerns about best practices for letters to the editor and also included more about his stance on choice. It’s probably a credit to his letter that I now feel the need to offer a few clarifications.

I was an English major in college, but if I had the chance to do it over again, I think I’d major in Political Science with a minor in Sociology. Talk about a winning ticket! I’ve always been a fascinated observer of human nature.
