In poor taste To the Editor: The latest stunt of our Republican presidential candidate is true to form. He went to “honor” those he has apparently derided in the past as “suckers” and “losers.” These are the unfortunates whose life was cut short in their military service to the nation.

France should be ashamed To the Editor: France should be ashamed of their theatrical performance in the opening of the Olympic games. News commentators reported it as the “Last Supper.” Most people saw this apparent depiction of the “Last Supper” as a sick insulting parody.
