Lady Warriors knock off Lumpkin

Staff report   The White County Lady Warriors celebrated Senior Night with a pair of Area 6 matches against North Hall and Lumpkin County. The Lady Warriors recognized seniors Sophia Butcher and Caroline Tatum during the tri-match.

Lady Warriors split Area tilt

  By Mark Turner White County News The White County Lady Warriors' volleyball team are heading into the stretch run of the regular season slate. The Lady Warriors (8-13) have a handful of games left over the next three weeks, before the Area 6-AAA tournament begins on Oct. 7.

Staff report   The White County volleyball team split a pair non-area matches last week during a home tri-match in Cleveland. The Lady Warriors scored a 2-0 straight set win over McDonough, but dropped a 2-0 decision to Cherokee Bluff in a matchup of two of the top teams in Class AAA.

Staff report   The White County Lady Warriors picked up two more wins over the past week, including getting an Area 6-AAA victory over Chestatee. The Lady Warriors are now 6-9 on the season, with a home tri-match on the docket for this afternoon as the team celebrates Teacher Appreciation Day.
