WCHS plans summer rebuild

GHSA changes playoff schedule, OT rules

Staff report   There are a couple of big changes coming to high school football in Georgia. The Georgia High School Association recently announced the playoff schedule will look different for the 2024 season and the format for overtime has also been changed.

WCHS teams tip off summer work

by Mark Turner White County News   Steve Shedd has won a lot of basketball games during his coaching career and he plans to continue that trend at White County High School. Shedd was hired in April to take over the Lady Warriors' program after a very success stint at Banks County.

Local athletes compete at State Games

Staff report   A group of local athletes took part in the 2024 Special Olympics Georgia State Summer Games in Atlanta. The annual event was held May 24-26 at Emory University and at the Druid Hills high school and middle school campuses.
