The White County Board of Elections and Registration will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, on the proposed consolidation of the Helen and Robertstown voting precincts.

White County has announced that Shanda Murphy will serve as the interim county manager starting June 26. The move comes following the resignation of current county manager Jason Cobb, whose last day will be June 25. Cobb started working as the county manager in April 2020.
