WCHS sends 12 individuals, three relays teams to AAA meet

White County High School's track team is sending 12 individuals and three relay teams to the Class AAA state meet this weekend at Carrollton High School. The WCHS athletes earned the state bids during the the Class AAA state sectional last weekend in Norcross.

Warriors repeat as region champs; Lady Warriors finish in second place

The White County High School track teams came up with a stellar performance last week at the Region 7-AAA track meet in Flowery Branch. The Warriors dominated in the boy's division, racking up 163 points to win their second-straight region title.

WCHS track athletes ready for 7-AAA meet

When the Region 7-AAA track meet kicks off this morning in Flowery Branch, White County High School will begin the chase for another pair of region championships. After sweeping the boy's and girl's titles last year, the WCHS squads have been working all season with the next two days in mind.

Cannon wins Class AAA discus crown

White County High School made some noise last week at the Class AAA state track meet in Albany. The Lady Warriors, behind a state championship performance from Dasha Cannon, captured fifth place in the girl's team standings, while the Warriors finished 14th in the boy's competition.

WCHS sends big group to Class AAA state meet

White County is sending a huge contingent to the Class AAA state track this week in Albany, as 26 athletes are headed to South Georgia to compete on the biggest stage of the season.

White County sweeps 7-AAA track team titles

It appears the White County track teams made history last week by capturing both Region 7-AAA track titles. According to WCHS head coach Jake Cantrell, winning both the boys and girls' titles in the same year is rare, and may not have ever been done in the program's history.

Mountain Invitational sweep

It was a clean sweep for the White County High School track teams at the 2021 Mt. Yonah Invitational last Friday at Warrior Stadium. The host school dominated the meet, winning both the boys and girl's divisions.
