Downpour downer

Heavy rains throughout last Thursday night and early Friday morning caused plenty of property-related troubles but reportedly no injuries in White County, even as crews conducted a river rescue.

Storm damage hits thousands around county

The hurricane that became Tropical Storm Zeta caused widespread power outages last Thursday. The fast moving storm arrived Oct. 29 and left hundreds of thousands without power in Georgia, and thousands in White County.

White County, like much of Georgia, endured severe storms late Sunday night and early Monday morning. Fortunately, no injuries reported had been reported as of Monday morning.
