Zoning review keeps proposed Family Promise center in limbo

The Cleveland City Council delayed a decision on a rezoning request by Family Promise of White & Habersham on property planned to serve as the nonprofit’s operations center for its mission to combat family homelessness. Seating was full in the City Council meeting room Dec.

Family Promise acquires property for new center

Family Promise of White & Habersham has acquired a home property that will soon serve as its new family day center, aiding its mission to combat homelessness in the community. The nonprofit group closed on the 403 West Kytle Street property (across from Jack P. Nix Elementary School) last week.

Rubber ducks race for Family Promise

The Chattahoochee River was lined with people on Saturday, Oct. 24. But they weren’t watching tubers. Instead, they were watching 2,400 ducks race down the river as part of the Great Helen Duck Race benefitting Family Promise of White/Habersham.
