Warriors have busy summer slate

The start of the 2022 high school football season is getting closer and closer with each passing day. The White County Warriors have 85 days until they open the season with a matchup against longtime rival North Hall on Aug, 19.

WCHS sends 12 individuals, three relays teams to AAA meet

White County High School's track team is sending 12 individuals and three relay teams to the Class AAA state meet this weekend at Carrollton High School. The WCHS athletes earned the state bids during the the Class AAA state sectional last weekend in Norcross.

Warriors place five on 7-AAA team

The 7-AAA All-Region team was announced this week, and the White County Warriors had five players named to the squad.

Warriors repeat as region champs; Lady Warriors finish in second place

The White County High School track teams came up with a stellar performance last week at the Region 7-AAA track meet in Flowery Branch. The Warriors dominated in the boy's division, racking up 163 points to win their second-straight region title.

WCHS track athletes ready for 7-AAA meet

When the Region 7-AAA track meet kicks off this morning in Flowery Branch, White County High School will begin the chase for another pair of region championships. After sweeping the boy's and girl's titles last year, the WCHS squads have been working all season with the next two days in mind.

Young players look to rebuild Warrior squads

The high school golf season is in full swing for the White County High School squads. The golf program has had some big time highlights over the past decade on both the girls and boys side, capped off last spring with the Lady Warriors winning the Class AAA title.

10U girls basketball team wins GRPA title

White County is the new home of a  Georgia Recreation Parks Association's Class C state champion. Last weekend in Evans County, the Lady Warriors' 10U team went 4-0 to capture the state title.

Warriors complete area sweep, win 7-AAA traditional championship

The White County Warrior wrestling team completed a historic sweep last Saturday in Dahlonega, winning the program's first-ever area traditional tournament title. The Warriors posted 219 points to hold off Lumpkin County, which finished with 205 points, for the 7-AAA championship.
JD Trowell dominated a pair of 285-pound divison matches during the 7-AAA Area Duals. Trowell posted a pair of first period pins itn the Warriors' win on the way to the program's first area duals championship.

For the first time in school history, the White County Warriors walked off the mat last weekend at Cherokee Bluff as Area Duals Champions.
