White County receives AEDs from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation

The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation named White County Fire Services a 2021 grant recipient.  The $15,540 grant will be used to purchase 12 Zoll AutomatedExternal Defibrillators(AEDs), which will help ensure our community is safer and better prepared for emergencies.
A boil water notice has been issued on Friday, June 18 for City of Cleveland water customers at the following locations: Ash St, Old Nacoochee Rd, portion of Church St, Yonah Springs Charles Dr., Three-M Court, Woodman Hall Rd, Parkview Dr., Spring St., Brady St, Pine St, Russell St., Dixon Dr., Faulkner St, Clara Bell Dr., Oakwood Ct., Cagle St., Carroll St., and E Jarrard St.

White County announces interim county manager

White County has announced that Shanda Murphy will serve as the interim county manager starting June 26. The move comes following the resignation of current county manager Jason Cobb, whose last day will be June 25. Cobb started working as the county manager in April 2020.
