County adopting rollback tax rate

by Denise Etheridge White County News   The White County Board of Commissioners announced it intends to adopt a rollback millage rate of 8.842 for tax year 2025. The commission will vote on the millage rate in a called meeting at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11.

Staff Reports Cleveland has appointed Brady “Bo” Medlock as interim fire chief, effective August 1, 2025, replacing former chief Ricky Pruitt, who resigned last week. Medlock will assume full duties and responsibilities of the fire chief during this leadership transition.
