A new judge has been appointed to the Enotah Judicial Circuit. On Wednesday, March 4, Gov. Brian Kemp announced the appointment of Buck Levins to fill the vacancy on the Superior Court of the Enotah Judicial Circuit that was left open when Stanley Gunter retired at the end of September 2019.

An incident involving a rabid skunk in the Albert Reid area is the fourth confirmed rabies case in White County for 2020. According to White County Environmental Health Manager Sean Sullivan, in the early morning on Monday, March 9, homeowners noticed their house smelled of skunk when they woke up.
