Lady Warriors fall to SE Bulloch; state run ends in second round

One of the best seasons in program history came to an end last week for the White County Lady Warriors in the second round of the Class AAA playoffs. The Lady Warriors fell to Southeast Bulloch in the Sweet 16 series, dropping a pair of games 2-0 and 6-2.

Lady Warriors blast Sandy Creek; take on SE Bulloch in second round

For the first time since 2010, the White County High School softball program has earned a spot in the Sweet 16. The Lady Warriors open the second round of the Class AAA tournament this afternoon in South Georgia, taking on Southeast Bulloch in a doubleheader.

WCHS, Sandy Creek open softball series

The White County High School softball team opens the Class AAA state tournament on the road today, taking on Sandy Creek in a doubleheader in Tyrone. The Lady Warriors (21-5) finished as the No. 3 seed in Region 7-AAA, while the Lady Patriots are the the No. 2 seed out of Region 5-AAA.

Weather issues disrupt softball plans

The clock is ticking down on the final few days of the high school softball season, and the wet weather is making it difficult for White County and the other teams in Region 7-AAA to finish off the regular season slate.

Lady Warriors knock off Bluff, end East Forsyth's unbeaten region run

The White County Lady Warriors might be the hottest high school softball team in North Georgia. The Lady Warriors are currently on a eight-game winning streak and 20-3 overall heading in today's road matchup with West Hall.

Lady Warriors chase top spot in region race

With two weeks left on the regular season softball schedule, the biggest issue facing the Region 7-AAA teams might be the weather. Over the past week, most of the teams in region have had games postponed due to the wet weather, and this week hasn't started any better.

Lady Warriors keep pace in 7-AAA race

The White County Warriors stayed near the top of the Region 7-AAA standings with a pair of wins this week over Gilmer County and West Hall. The Lady Warriors (14-3) moved to 9-3 in region play with the wins, and currently sit in third place behind East Forsyth (13-0) and Cherokee Bluff (7-2).

After suffering their first loss of the season last week, the White County softball team, ranked No. 5 in the latest Class AAA state poll, bounced back with a pair of wins to get back on the winning track.

No. 3 Lady Warriors handed first loss

White County's perfect start to the 2021 high school softball season came to an end Monday after East Forsyth handed the Lady Warriors an 8-0 loss in the 7-AAA matchup in Cleveland. The Lady Warriors, who had risen to No.
