Lady Warriors still perfect at 5-0

The only thing that's been able to stop the White County High School softball team so far this season is the weather.

Lady Warriors start season with four wins

The first week of the 2021 high school softball season couldn't have worked out much better for the White County Lady Warriors. WCHS opened the season with four straight wins, including a 5-1 win over Habersham Central Monday afternoon in Cleveland.

Talented roster fuels Lady Warriors' state playoff aspirations

For the past two months, the White County High School softball team has put in a lot of time on the field and the weight room getting ready for the 2021 season. Now it's time to reap the rewards of all the summer work.

Softball, volleyball kicks off next week

The 2021 high school sports season starts next week for a pair of White County High School teams. The Lady Warrior softball team gets the new year started next Wednesday, traveling to Habersham Central for the season opener.

Lady Warriors open summer play

Opening day for the White County High School softball team is less than a month away, but the Lady Warriors got a chance to step on the field for the first time this summer during a doubleheader Tuesday at Banks County High School.

Lady Warriors begin summer work; look forward to big season

The start of the 2021 high school softball season is just around the corner and the White County Lady Warriors aren't wasting any time getting ready for the upcoming season.

Lady Bears fall in NAIA national softball tourney

After opening the NAIA national softball tournament with a win, the Truett McConnell Lady Bears saw their season come to and end Tuesday with a pair of losses. The Lady Bears, the No. 3 seed in the Hattiesburg Regional, opened the tournament Monday with a 4-3 win over No. 2 seed Central Baptist.

Lady Warriors fall in state playoffs

During the final week of the regular season, White County softball coach Drew Owens was asked about the teams in Region 6-AAA, which just happened to be the region the Lady Warriors and the rest of playoff teams from Region 7-AAA would match up with in the first round of the Class AAA playoffs.
