Warriors hold off Lumpkin, set to battle Dawson

Winning on the road is never easy, especially in a highly-competitive region like 7-AAA, and any road win is vitally important for a team making a run at a regular season region title. That was the case for the White County Warriors Tuesday night in their matchup with Lumpkin County in Dahlonega.

Middle school teams gearing up for MAC tourney

Warriors shake off slow start in win against Spartans

After suffering their first region loss of the year last Saturday, the White County Lady Warriors had three days to get ready to take on one of the biggest tasks of the season with a trip to Dahlonega Tuesday to take on Lumpkin County, the new No. 1 team in the latest Class AAA state poll.

WC gives up only four points in region win

The White County Lady Warrior basketball team posted one of the biggest scoring margins in school history Tuesday night, knocking off West Hall 75-4 in a Region 7-AAA game in Cleveland.

The White County Warriors' wrestling team split a pair of matches Tuesday night at Cherokee Bluff in Flowery Branch. The Warriors knocked off Athens Academy, but dropped the night cap to the Bears.

WCHS sweeps West Hall in region matchup

The White County High School basketball teams returned to the court Tuesday night, with a 7-AAA doubleheader against West Hall. Both WCHS teams came away with big wins.
