The weather warmed up a little last Saturday and so did the White County High School baseball team. The Warriors rolled through a pair of non-region games, blasting Johnson and Chestatee, and the knocked off Riverside 16-0 Tuesday to improve to 4-2 on the year.

The White County High School track athletes got the 2021 season started Saturday at the Cherokee Buff Crazy Relays in Flowery Branch. The event feartured the traditional field events and a series of traditional and non-traditional relay races.
Senior Rylee Higgins had two hits in the win over East Hall, including an RBI single to tie the game at 3-3 in the fifth inning.

The White County Warriors staged a late rally to knock off East Hall 5-4 last Friday in the season opener. The Warriors scored three times in the fifth inning to erase the Viking's early 3-0 lead, and then added a run in the sixth inning and a run in the eighth inning to pick up the win.

The 2021 high school soccer season is off and running for the White County Warriors, and both the girls and boy's teams are garnering some statewide attention in the first three weeks of the season. Since opening the season with a 3-1 loss to Jefferson, the No.
