WCHS sends big contingent to Class AAA State sectional

by Mark TurnerThe White County High School track will take a large contingent of track athletes to the Class AAA state sectional Saturday in Jefferson.The WCHS athletes earned the sectional spots last week at the Region 6-AAA meet at Warrior Stadium in Cleveland.

Hall wins Area title, WC takes team crown

By Mark TurnerIt's state tournament time of high school golfers in Georgia, and the White County Lady Warriors will be one of the teams in the hunt for the state title when the Class AAA tournament is held at the Highland Country Club in LaGrange on May 18-19.

Warriors take region series from GAC; blast Johnson to open final week of regular season

by Mark Turner  With two days left in the regular season, there's a lot to be decided in the Region 6-AAA baseball race. After Tuesday's games, Pickens sits atop the 6-AAA standings with a 17-2 record after knocking off Greater Atlanta Christian 3-1 in the series opener.

WC soccer teams get Senior Night sweep

by Mark Turner The White County High School soccer teams celebrated Senior Night in the best way possible Tuesday night at Warrior Stadium, posting a sweep over Banks County in a non-region matchup.

by Shena Anderson White County Special Olympics White County hosted its annual Special Olympics Spring Games last week at Warrior Stadium, bringing together athletes, students, educators, and community members for a day filled with excitement, encouragement, and unforgettable moments.

Warriors win Lumpkin series, knock off GAC
