WCHS girls win Yonah title

by Mark Turner White County High School played host to the annual Mount Yonah Invitational last week at Warrior Stadium as track athletes from Lumpkin County, Fannin County, Commerce, Union County and Pickens joined the Warriors in the meet.

Warriors fall in OT heartbreaker

by Mark Turner   The White County Middle School boy's soccer team came up just short in their bid to win the North Georgia Mountain League title last week in Dawsonville.

WCHS to host Mount Yonah Invitational

The White County High School track team will host the annual Mount Yonah Invitational this afternoon at Warrior Stadium. The WCHS squad, along with Lumpkin County, Commerce, Union County, Fannin County and Pickens will kick off the meet with the field events starting at 3:45 p.m.

WCMS teams set to play for Mountain League titles

Staff report   The White County Middle School soccer teams will be trying to bring home a pair of Mountain League socer titles this afternoon. Both of the school's teams picked up semifinal wins earlier his week and take the field this afternoon for a chance to win the tournament championship.

WC golfers excel at league tournament

The White County Middle School golf teams had a big day at the Mountain League Championships last week at Whitepath Golf Club in Ellijay.  The Lady Warriors earned the team title, while the Warriors finished as the runner-up in the boy's division.

Warriors post 8-1 win

By Mark Turner It's starting to look like the White County High School baseball team's favorite day of the week is Tuesday. For the third straight week, the Warriors have opened a Region 6-AAA series with a win.

White County youth athletes hit the track

The White County Recreation Department's track team opened the season last weekend with the first meet of the  North Georgia Youth Track & Field schedule. The season-opening meet was held at the Warrior Stadium in Cleveland.

Lady Warriors win Battle of the Blue Ridge
