White County's hopes of moving on to the Class AAA Duals sectional tourament came to an end last Saturday morning at Cherokee Bluff High School.
To say its's been a good start to the New Year for the White County High School basketball teams might be a bit of an understatement.
Winning on the road is never easy, especially in a highly-competitive region like 7-AAA, and any road win is vitally important for a team making a run at a regular season region title.
The White County Middle School basketball closes out the regular season this afternoon, and then will turn their attention to the Mountain Athletic Conference tournament next week.
The White County Warriors and five other wrestling teams take to the mat Saturday at Cherokee Bluff High School to compete for the Area 7-AAA duals title.
