Over the past 12 months, there were a lot of stellar performances and big moments for athletes of all ages in White County. Several of the White County High School teams had unforgettable seasons and a handful of athletes achieved great individual success by winning state titles.

Staff report   Nathan Calhoun is headed to the biggest stage on the high school rodeo tour. Calhoun, a rising senior at White County High School, recently qualified for the National High School Finals Rodeo, which will take place July 16-22 at the Camplex Event Center in Gillette, WY.

Warriors start summer prep

by Mark Turner White County News   The countdown to the 2023 high school football season started this week as the White County Warriors  opened summer workouts Monday morning at Warrior Stadium. The workout was the first of 12 set for for the next three weeks, along with three 7-on-7 events.
