Title time: Lady Warriors chase 7-AAA championship

by Mark Turner White County News   This year, the 7-AAA volleyball championship literally runs through Cleveland. Not only is White County the defending region champion, WCHS is the No. 1 seed and host of the post-season tournament.

WCMS wins softball title

by Mark Turner White County News   The White County Middle School softball team capped off the 2023 season in grand style Monday in Blairsville, winning a pair of games to capture the North Georgia Mountain League championship.

Strong Start: Warriors open region play with 24-14 road win

Warriors open 7-AAA schedule

by Mark Turner White County News   After six weeks, four games and two bye weeks, the White County Warriors open the Region 7-AAA slate Friday night, traveling to Dawsonville for a matchup with the Dawson County Tigers.

Warriors fall in matchup with Indians

by Mark Turner   It was truly a tale of two halves last Friday during the non-region matchup between White County and No. 3 Stephens County. The two teams battled back in forth during the opening 24 minutes of the Homecoming contest with the Indians taking a 21-20 lead into the locker room.

High school, middle school teams compete at North Hall Invitational

by Mark Turner White County News   A large group of runners turned out for the North Hall Invitational last week in Gainesville. The event is has become one of the bigger early season meets for area middle school and high school cross country programs.
