Champs Again: Lady Bears win AAC soccer title

Staff report   F or the second time in two years, the Truett McConnell Lady Bears are the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament Champions. The Lady Bears (17-2-2) captured their second consecutive conference tournament title last Friday with a 1-0 win over Tennessee Wesleyan.

New classifications announced

Late Wednesday afternoon, the Georgia High School Association announced the new classifications for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 academic years. The GHSA is going back to six classes next year for the 457 member schools, while Class A will still be divided into the two divisions.
