Warriors' offense full of explosive talent

The White County Warriors enter the season with a roster full of weapons on the offensive side of the ball. Last fall, the Warriors amassed 4,000 yards in 10 games, averaging 28.1 points per game. Most of the skill players responsible for those numbers are back in the lineup this year.

Warriors set to make a push for region title, state playoff run

Let us play. That's been the mantra for most high school and college football players around the country since the COVID-19 pandemic put a cloud of doubt over the 2020 season.

Warriors in pads; GHSA continues to ponder fall plans

The White County Warriors got a chance to put on the pads this week, kicking off the first official week of practice with workouts in helmets, shoulder pads, and shorts. The Warriors have a couple of weeks in pads before taking on Fannin County in a pre-season scrimmage Aug. 21 in Blue Ridge.

Warriors ready for pads; add scimmage to schedule

While softball and volleyball open the regular season next week, the White County football team will put on pads for the first time next Monday with the start of full contact workouts. Last week, the Georgia High School Association pushed back the start of the 2020 season by two weeks until Sept.

Warriors back to work with new schedule on the horizon

When the news came out late Monday that the Georgia High School Association was postponing the start of the 2020 high school football season, most people around the sport considered it to be a positive step forward.

Warriors add team drills to summer plan

Thanks to the Georgia High School Association lifting some restrictions on workouts rules, the White County Warriors have been able to ramp up their summer workouts over the past two weeks.

The White County Warriors got back to work last week, officially beginning the preparation for the 2020 high school football season.

Moore tabbed to lead defense

For the second time in two months, the White County High School football program has a new defensive coordinator. Greg Moore, who has a coached at several area schools during his long coaching career, joined the program last week as the team kicked off the summer conditioning program.

The White County Warriors' football team will hit the ground running next week when the Georgia High School Association allows high school athletes back on campus for the first time since mid-March due the to COVID-19 pandemic.
