Lady Warriors reload for another playoff run

The White County Lady Warriors did some big things on the volleyball court during the 2020 season. Starting this week, we'll find out if they can do it again this fall. The Lady Warriors tipped off the new season Tuesday by splitting a pair of games in Gainesville.

Softball, volleyball kicks off next week

The 2021 high school sports season starts next week for a pair of White County High School teams. The Lady Warrior softball team gets the new year started next Wednesday, traveling to Habersham Central for the season opener.

Lady Warriors close out regular season, tip off 7-AAA tournament

The 7-AAA Area volleyball tournament tipped off Wednesday at White County High School. The Lady Warriors earned the right to host the tournament after going 6-0 in area play to win the regular season title. The tournament began with eight matches on Wednesday. Gilmer, the No.

WCHS ready to chase region title on home court

WCMS second at league tourney

The White County Middle School volleyball team brought home the runner-up trophy last Saturday at the North Georgia Mountain League Tournament in Dahlonega. The Lady Warriors knocked off Lumpkin County 2-0 in the tournament semifinals, but fell to Fannin County 2-0 in the championship match.
