Talks stall on city homestead exemption

A potential homestead tax exemption for full-time Helen residents generated some talk, but no action, at the Dec. 14 Helen City Commission meeting.
The idea of creating a city exemption on top of the one offered by the county government was broached last month and set aside for further review.
