by Linda Erbele White County News The Cleveland City Council, at its regular meeting July 3, approved adding John Solmon, the city’s new finance director, to the city’s bank accounts and credit card accounts. Solmon began his duties Monday, July 3.

by Samantha Sinclair White County News Seventy-nine years ago this month, Andy Negra landed on Utah Beach in Normandy, France. On June 4, he stood on Omaha Beach, just beside where he landed, for the first time since July 18, 1944. “It struck me real quick,” Negra said.
