Foundation honors memory of fallen Vietnam soldier

by Jessica Wood White County News   Frederick “Little John’’ Killmon and Roger Rosdahl were 19 when they enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1969. They had met in early 1970 when they were stationed together.

Graduation set for Friday

by Samantha Sinclair White County News   Two hundred and fifty-seven students will be recognized Friday night as the newest graduates of White County High School. The graduation ceremony is set for 8 p.m. at Warrior Stadium on the high school campus.

Flying lighter

by Jessica Wood White County News   Earlier this month, David Bristol launched an experimental hot air balloon that has been in the making for over 10 years. It successfully floated, and five days ago he acquired its airworthiness certification.

by Jessica Wood White County News   During Helen’s infancy as a Bavarian village, Pete Hodkinson was flipping through a book about Bavaria for inspiration when he spotted a hot air balloon flying around the Alps. The idea of bringing ballooning to Helen struck him.
