Renshaw hired as new county manager

Michael R. Renshaw, who has over 29 years of experience in local government, was hired Monday to be the new White County Manager. He is expected to begin his new duties around the first of July. “He comes very highly recommended, with a very strong resume,” commission chairman Travis Turner said.

Lady Warriors open playoffs next week

The White County Lady Warriors are back in the Class AAA state tournament this year, after finishing the regular season as the No. 3 from Region 7-AAA. The Lady Warriors have huge task in the first round as they head to Norcross next Tuesday to take on Greater Atlanta Christian.
