A White County resident says he plans to challenge state Rep. Terry Rogers in the Republican 2020 primary for the District 10 seat. Robert Crumley, 23, says he’s running with a focus on helping average Georgians – something he believes some state elected officials have failed to do.

Millage hearings scheduled for county, city, school board

The next three weeks will be busy, as the White County Commissioners, City of Cleveland and White County Board of Education all hold their millage hearings. Hearings were set to begin Thursday, July 18, at 8 a.m. for the county and 9 a.m. for Cleveland.

Another source for fresh and locally grown produce has opened in Cleveland. Dyer Farms Store – owned and operated by Mike Dyer – began serving customers July 4, after about a year of planning and preparation. “I grew up on the farm, loved it,” Dyer said.
