Millage hearings begin for county, Cleveland and BOE

No one from the public attended the City of Cleveland’s first two meetings on its proposed millage – but there was discussion about changing the rate. Cleveland has advertised a millage rate of 6, which is about 1.7 percent over the rollback rate of 5.899.

Millage hearings scheduled for county, city, school board

The next three weeks will be busy, as the White County Commissioners, City of Cleveland and White County Board of Education all hold their millage hearings. Hearings were set to begin Thursday, July 18, at 8 a.m. for the county and 9 a.m. for Cleveland.
