Helen approves golf cart rules

by Eric Tiongson White County News   White County has spoken, and the results are in. The 2024 Presidential Preference Primary came to an end on Tuesday night, with polls closing at 7 p.m. Unofficially, 4,118 total votes were cast, down from 7,340 votes in the 2020 June primary.

Drug house bust nets 6 arrests

by Eric Tiongson White County News   On Tuesday, March 12, six people were arrested during a drug bust at 979 Hulsey Road in Cleveland, according to the White County Sheriff’s Office. About 25 grams of meth were confiscated during the arrests, according to reports.

Literacy leader to head local elementary curriculum

by Samantha Sinclair White County News   An assistant principal is moving to the district office next school year. Danette Hasek, assistant principal at Mossy Creek Elementary School, was selected to be the district’s new director of elementary curriculum, effective July 1.
