Gensler leads Warriors to big win over over Bluff

With the White County boy's soccer in a 2-0 hole to Cherokee Bluff midway through the second half of a Region 7-AAA soccer matchup last Friday night in Oakwood, senior Hayden Gensler came up with one of the top performances in program history to propel the Warriors to a 4-3 comeback win.

WCHS competes at Eagle Invitational

WC's state-ranked soccer teams sweep East Jackson

The White County soccer teams took a break from the Region 7-AAA schedule over the past few days to play a pair of non-region games with East Jackson and Lakeview Academy. Both Warrior squads continue to hold high spots in the latest Class AAA state rankings. The Lady Warriors are now ranked No.

WCRD 8U team second at Class C tourney

The youth basketball season wrapped up last weekend for the White County Recreation Department All-Star teams with three teams playing the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association's Class C state tournament.

WC shuts out Indians in 7-AAA opener

Over the next month and a half, the White County Warriors will play 18 games to determine the four teams that will represent Region 7-AAA in the Class AAA state tournament.

WCRD teams head to state tournament

White County will be represented by three teams when the Georgia Recreation and Park Association Class C state basketball tournaments begin Friday afternoon around the state.

Warriors win three in a row

The weather warmed up a little last Saturday and so did the White County High School baseball team. The Warriors rolled through a pair of non-region games, blasting Johnson and Chestatee, and the knocked off Riverside 16-0 Tuesday to improve to 4-2 on the year.

Warriors get first state win since 2002; fall to No. 1 Sandy Creek in Sweet 16

A historic season for the White County Warriors' basketball program came to an end last Friday night in the second round of the Class AAA tournament. For only the third time in school history, the Warriors advanced to the Sweet 16, but unfortunately, it was bitter ending as No.

Soccer teams post region wins over Gilmer, Dawson

After the first week of the Region 7-AAA soccer schedule, it appears that the road to the region title might run through Cleveland on both the boys and girl's side.

Track teams start season at Bluff's Crazy Relays

The White County High School track athletes got the 2021 season started Saturday at the Cherokee Buff Crazy Relays in Flowery Branch. The event feartured the traditional field events and a series of traditional and non-traditional relay races.
