n November, Jenna Gearing lined up with some of the best runners in the nation at the SEC Cross Country Championships in Baton Rouge. La., and did something even she didn't expect, finishing second in the women's race behind Alabama's Mercy Chelangat.

White County High School athletic director Craig Turner has been busy the past couple of weeks, doing something he usually doesn't have to do during basketball season – rescheduling games.
