Warriors pin Spartans, 52-30

The White County Warriors' wrestling team split a pair of matches Tuesday night at Cherokee Bluff in Flowery Branch. The Warriors knocked off Athens Academy, but dropped the night cap to the Bears.

WCHS sweeps West Hall in region matchup

The White County High School basketball teams returned to the court Tuesday night, with a 7-AAA doubleheader against West Hall. Both WCHS teams came away with big wins.
n November, Jenna Gearing lined up with some of the best runners in the nation at the SEC Cross Country Championships in Baton Rouge. La., and did something even she didn't expect, finishing second in the women's race behind Alabama's Mercy Chelangat.

Warrior wrestlers get in some holiday work

After a few days off for Christmas, the White County wrestling team got back on the mat this week, taking part in the Holiday Clash at Forsyth Central High School in Cumming.

WCHS puts 11 on All Region football squad

A large contingent of White County football players are part of the 7-AAA All-Region team, which was announced late last week. The team is comprised of players from WCHS, Cherokee Bluff, North Hall, Dawson County, West Hall, Gilmer County and Lumpkin County.

Lady Warriors ready to get back on the court Saturday

Last Wednesday, the White County Lady Warriors were coming off the biggest off the biggest win of the season after knocking off Dawson County in the 7-AAA region opener.

After an unexpected week off, the White County Warriors got back on the court Tuesday for a 7-AAA showdown with North Hall.

Warriors second at King event; set for big year on the mat

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the landscape of sports, especially on the high school level. Some states have cancelled all fall and winter sports, but fortunately Georgia has found a way to keep high school sports up and running.
