WCHS' Turner, Sanfilippo honored by GADA
White County High School senior Bentley Cronic will continue her academic and athletic career at Piedmont College in the fall. Cronic signed a letter of intent this week to become part of the Lady Lions' basketball program. Piedmont College is a NCAA D-III college in Demorest. The Lady Lions finished 19-9 this past season, and have won three of the last four USA South tournament titles. GHSA mulls plans to restart activities
Over the past two weeks, Governor Brian Kemp has begun implementing the plan to reopen the state amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of the changes have allowed the White County Recreation Department to open up some of their facilities
