The thousands of high school athletes and coaches around the state may find out the fate of the 2020 spring season on Friday when the Georgia High School Association holds a meeting of the associate directors.

When the White County High School baseball team walked off the field March 11 following a 4-0 win over West Hall in the 7-AAAA opener, the players and coaches had no idea it might be the last time they stepped on the field this season.
