WC volleyball squad easing back into summer program
The Warriors, including senior receiver Cooper Turner, right, won't be able to compete in 7-on-7 events in June due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The team will open summer workouts next week at the high school complex.

A New Start
WCHS' Turner, Sanfilippo honored by GADA
White County High School senior Bentley Cronic will continue her academic and athletic career at Piedmont College in the fall. Cronic signed a letter of intent this week to become part of the Lady Lions' basketball program. Piedmont College is a NCAA D-III college in Demorest. The Lady Lions finished 19-9 this past season, and have won three of the last four USA South tournament titles.
