KISS Club students build teamwork and skills in appreciation project for teachers

White County Middle School teachers were treated to gift baskets at their end of the school year lunch. While the gesture made a splash to show appreciation for those who worked through a full year during the COVID-19 pandemic, the project had also served as a lesson months in the making.

Georgia Power launched two new community electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at Freedom Park in Cleveland on June 7, with complimentary charging available through July 3. Charging sessions require ChargePoint authorization, which is available at georgiapower.chargepoint.

Applicants are being sought for a vacancy on the White County Board of Elections and Registration. The development follows the departure of Board member Marlon Caldwell, who resigned effective immediately in a June 4 letter to the White County Board of Commissioners.
