Incumbents Linda Erbele and Lyn Holcomb successfully fended off primary challenges in Tuesday’s primary election in White County. Erbele received 3,754 votes in the Republican race for White County School Board.

Replacement of Airport Road bridge moves ahead

The White County Board of Commissioners selected bids Monday for installing a replacement bridge on Airport Road. The single-lane bridge was washed away last October by a lingering storm from Hurricane Delta, leaving part of the road closed. Commissioners approved a low bid from E.R.
