White County could be changing how its elections are supervised. That duty currently falls to longtime Probate Judge Garrison Baker, who plans to retire at the end of next year.

Try out new voting machine during demonstration period

Residents can soon get a hands-on introduction to Georgia’s new voting machines. White County’s election superintendent and voter registrar invite the public to view a demonstration of the new voting machines, beginning this Monday, Nov. 4, and continuing through Friday, Nov. 15.

Cleveland issues boil water notice

UPDATE: The boil water advisory has been lifted as of Monday morning. The City of Cleveland issued a boil water notice Saturday morning related to a 6-inch water main break.This is the same area that was under a boil water notice last week.
