Charges pending in fatal accident

Charges are pending in a fatal three-vehicle accident that occurred today that involved a 92-year-old Cleveland man. The accident occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. on Alt. 75 at its intersection with John Head Road, according to Cpl Josh Hedden with Georgia State Patrol Post 6.

Freudenberg NOK donates over $50,000 to WCHS industrial maintenance program

White County High School's industrial maintenance program has received a boost from the Cleveland plant of Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies. Company representatives presented a check for $57,630 to the White County Board of Education on Thursday, Sept. 26.

Movie filmed here could boost visitation

A heartwarming holiday tale filmed in White County has an official premiere date – and an economic impact. Christmas Love Letter, filmed in Helen and the surrounding area earlier this year, will air on Lifetime on Saturday, Dec. 21.
