Lady Warriors look to extend playoff streak

By Mark Turner White County News   For more than a decade, the White County High School girl's soccer team has been one of the top programs in this part of the state. Heading into their first year in Region 6-AAA, the Lady Warriors are putting together a plan to keep that tradition alive.

Lady Warriors clinch No. 2 seed for tourney

by Mark Turner White County News   The White County Lady Warriors basketball team locked up the No. 2 seed for the Region 6-AAA tournament with a 53-42 win over Greater Atlanta Christian in regular home finale Tuesday night in Cleveland.

Lady Warriors stumble in region matchup

by Mark Turner White County News   The White County Lady Warriors saw their five-game winning streak come to an end Tuesday in Cleveland as Dawson County picked up a big road win, 45-39. The loss dropped the Lady Warriors' record to 8-2 in Region 6-AAA play and 16-5 overall.

The WCHS girl's wrestling team finished third in Area 8 tournament last week at East Jackson County High School in Commerce. This was the girl's team first-ever appearance in area duals event. by Mark Turner White County News   T he winter weather last weekend played a big role in White County High School's wrestling schedule as both the boys and girl's teams battled for area duals titles. With snow and ice moving into North Georgia, the area tournaments were moved up a few days.
