WC runners stacking miles this summer

by Mark Turner White County News   It's going to be a hot summer in Georgia, but the heat and humidity won't stop the members of the White County High School cross country teams from preparing for the 2025 season, which begins in August. The WCHS runners open the season on Aug.
For the first time in school history, the White County Warriors had three runner-up finishes at the Georgia High School Association State Wrestling Championships, including sophomore Hunter Smith (pictured). WCRD 8U team wins District title

Staff report   The White County Recreation Department's 8U softball team punched their ticket to the Georgia Recreation and Park Association's Class C state tournament by winning the District 7 title last weekend in Homer.
