WCMS squad learning new system

It's been a summer of transition for the White County Middle School football program. Thanks to a change at the top of the coaching staff, the Warriors have spent part of the summer learning a new system.

Warriors working toward Aug. 15 scrimmage

The heat turned up this week and it's officially the dog days of summer for high school football players and coaches who have been working pretty much every day for the past month in preparation for the 2019 season.

SUMMER WORK PICKS UP FOR WCHS TEAM

Last winter, the White County Lady Warriors put together the most successful season in the history of the school's volleyball program. The WCHS squad put together a 20-12 run during the 2018 campaign, finishing third in the 7-AAAA tournament and earning a spot in the Class AAAA state tournament.

Former Warriors among 66 inductees

Four former White County High School athletes are now part of the BLITZ Hall of Fame. Kaleb Crane, Caroline Craig, Austin Harris and Karson Kimsey are among 66 former prep athletes from around North Georgia included in the Class of 2019 inductee class.
