Truett sweeps Toccoa Falls

The Truett McConnell basketball swept a pair of games from Toccoa Falls College last week before heading into the Thanksgiving break. The Bears knocked off the Screaming Eagles 71-68, the women's team posted a 70-45 rout.

WCMS basketball teams pick up wins

The White County Middle School basketball teams are headed toward the mid-point of the regular season. The WCHS teams returned from Thanksgiving break this week, taking on Dawson County in four games.

Back on the mat

After a slow start to the season due to some illness and injuries, the White County High School wrestling team is ready to begin the grind that leads to the Class AAAA tournament in February.

Lady Warriors notch region win

It was Throwback Night on Tuesday for the White County High School basketball teams, and for the Lady Warriors it meant it's back to their winning ways. The Lady Warriors (3-4, 1-0) opened the 7-AAAA schedule with a 53-38 win over Blessed Trinity.

Bears suffer first losses of season

After a 4-0 start, the Truett McConnell Bears have dropped two games in a row heading into the holiday break. The Bears dropped a 90-81 decision to Bluefield College last Saturday in Virginia. The loss dropped the Bears to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in Appalachian Athletic Conference play.
